Best Concert Ever For my birthday last year, I got tickets to Kelly Clarkson’s concert featuring Pentatonix. Pentatonix is an amazing a capella group featuring five people that won the sing- off. I am VERY obsessed with them, i even run a fan page on instagram. And of course, we all know who Kelly Clarkson is, a pop legend. And for my 13th birthday, i got tickets to see both bands live. On the day of the concert, which i had waited 3 months for, i spent the entire day getting ready and we left at 6:00pm. I was just freaking out over the fact that i would be within 20 feet of Mitch Grassi (a singer from Pentatonix) We took my dad’s old, torn up van all the way to noblesville. The whole way, we blasted Pentatonix and Kelly Clarkson music through …show more content…
It was very nerve-racking how close the cars were zooming past us, but once the rain died down, we drove down the street to a gas station. We waited there for the rain to stop for about an hour. I was really upset because i was really looking forward to seeing Pentatonix. But we still rushed to noblesville.
When we first got there, i noticed a group of tour busses. Me being the stalker i am, knows exactly what their tour bus looks like, so i took multiple pictures of the bus. And then we got our seats. We were way closer than i expected we would be, so i was very excited. We got there just in time for Pentatonix to play. They played about 7 songs and the entire time I was standing on my chair, dancing and singing to their songs louder than i ever have before. it’s weird seeing them up close and knowing that they’re real people, not just a computer screen. They did so amazing and i was amazed the entire time. When they were done with their set, i waited for kelly clarkson to come on. And when she did, i was just as amazed. She sounds exactly the same in person. You can tell she puts her heart and soul into every concert. She was very free spirited and didn’t care about fitting in. She was very

We were going to hear them sing, to us, and it was amazing. When you think about seeing someone in concert you think about someone you have been dying to see. The night before we left for Shakopee, I studied the bands, what kind of music they played and what they sounded like. Very few of them became favorites, as I am very picky the kind of music I listen to. I was scared because I was still fairly new to this, but by the end of the night I wasn’t scared…

The shining “Unity in Diversity” sign that hovered above Hoodie Allen’s head throughout the course of his disastrous performance is the epitome of irony. As Hoodie Allen attempted to rap about “living life without responsibility” and his many tales of lust and loss, I counted the number of people sitting with me on the upper balcony at the House of Blues. There’s 46 of us. 46 more than should actually have to suffer through this performance. Hoodie Allen made a wonderful first impression.…

This trip began around 3:00 p.m. where I left my house to pick up Christina from the Martin Way Park and Ride. It was 3:25 p.m. when I arrived and from there we headed to Downtown Olympia. It took us a fairly long time trying to find parking and ending up finding a spot near the Farmer’s Market at 3:55 p.m. By then the weather was very cloudy and was 59 F. Despite the cloudy and not so warm weather, today’s goal is to experience and observe one of Downtown Olympia most talked about events the Procession of the Species!…

The emotions expressed by not only the music but by how the musicians looked while playing these pieces made me believe that this show meant a lot to them because they would sway to the music when they weren’t playing. It had my emotions spiral out of control because some of the music was happy then it turned sad in an instance, then it would go right back to something whimsical. It’s not the typical kind of music that I would listen to daily but I am happy that I got to attend this event and hear something that I wouldn’t normally.…

It was very exciting to see these choirs sing with such passion. I also really liked listening to instruments live. I would rather listen to a pipe organ being played live than on a CD too. In my opinion the pipe organ sounds a lot better when it is played live too. This concert allowed me to hear new instruments live, which was a tremendously amazing experience.…
