I find this book true , informative, entertaining, funny, well written and easy to read. The author, Tony Shieh put his personal touch in telling stories that are very significant and important on how he became the CEO of one of the most admired company in America today. Being ranked as one of the Top 100 “Best Companies to Work For” for seven consecutive years (ranked 86th this year, 2015) by the Fortune magazine. The lessons he learned from his personal experiences in life and being an entrepreneur at a young age in middle school, high school, college and after his university days. This book was divided into three sections: 1. Profits Tony Hsieh was already doing business at a young age. He always thinking on how to earn good money. This was his first unsuccessful business venture. His parents still supported him who I think motivate Tony that he can do anything and not worry about success because he has family that supported him and believe in his talent. Tony’s childhood dream was to make lots and lots of money. To him, at that time, if you have plenty of money you can buy and do whatever you want and this will make him happy. The thought of having his own company will help him realize his dream. Which I think even adult think about that, but later on Tony realized that there are other things that will give more satisfaction and happiness. It’s not all about money. His first success business was when he was in middle school . He started his photo pin-buttons by mail. He found it fulfilling and exciting . The biggest lesson he learned from this business was; it is possible to run a business successfully without any face-to-face interaction with your customer.
