Best Buy is a consumer electronics corporation. The headquarters is located is in Richfield Minnesota. Best buy is not only in the United States. It is also located in Canada and Mexico. the company was founded in 1966 by Gary Smoliak and Richard M. Schulz as an audio specialty store named sound of music. Then later in 1983 it was changed to the name Best Buy and they decided to completely change what was originally an audio specialty store to a more consumer electronics store. when that happened the money and business just started flocking in, opening 10 stores and with more than 10 million dollars in annual salaries. they then later opened their first ever superstore in Burnsville Minnesota. Opening that store was one of the best investments
