Besnik Case Study

Decent Essays
Besnik has returned almost two months since the last appointment. He is much improved, although there remains some lingering cough. There is no sputum production.

I have obtained some information from The Northern Hospital including a CPTPA study that was unremarkable.

Besnik went to Albania for a few weeks and whilst there did not take Nexium. He has noted some reflux symptoms since. He has recommenced it as of today. He has observed that when taking Nexium his cough does seem better. He is also reporting intermittent nasal congestion with post-nasal drip.

Chest auscultation remains clear.

Besnik’s symptoms are improving an at this point we would have to conclude that he does have a lingering post-infective cough, but I also
