When it comes to the food truck industry the millennials are the target market. Specifically, the customers the Berry Healthy Choice on Wheels will be targeting are the 19-36 years old in the Boston area, which consists of 658, 279 people (United States Census Bureau, 2016). “According to a survey published by the National Restaurant Association, consumers aged 18 to 34 years of age were the most likely to purchase a meal from a food truck, followed by 54 percent of diners aged between 35 and 44 years. Older generations were the least likely to patronize a food truck, with only 30 percent of survey respondents aged 65 and over having visited one” (Statista, 2018). These areas are always busy in the city and there is constant movement. Not to mention people are always hungry and the smell of fresh food is a great motivator for people to come and buy something! Others are just health conscious individuals who are hungry or on the go as well. In order to run a healthy and fresh, all natural, and organic food truck it would take good local and trustworthy suppliers. Just like most of the other food trucks in the area do, local suppliers are key for our products and services.
