Why Is Bernie Sanders Considered The Best As President?

There are many candidates running for the office of President of the United States in 2016. They have all presented many good reasons and issues of why they believe that they should be chosen by the citizens of the country to be president. Out of all the candidates running, however, Bernie Sanders would be the best as president. Bernie Sanders is a 74 year old politician in the democratic party running for president. Some of his presidential issues include making college tuition free and debt free, changing the national minimum wage for everyone, and giving Medicare to all. His presidential issues or in other words the goals that he wants to accomplish as president would benefit millions of lives and solve problems that the country has. If …show more content…
Some might argue that Hillary Clinton for example wants to have similar solutions as his. However, an article states, “Hillary Clinton wants to continue the Obama legacy and make changes ths don 't go far enough in my opinion.” There are several problems present in the United States because of mistakes that Barack Obama has done. By choosing Hillary Clinton, the problems will remain in the country and might get worse over the year. Bernie Sanders, however, does not plan on continuing all of the president 's plans and could therefore solve problems and make life easier in the United States with some of his ideas such as free health care. Some might say that Donald Trump could be a better candidate as he is very experienced in business which could be very helpful in running the economy, whereas Bernie Sanders is not. However, Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy four times, therefore it would be risky to count on him not to damage the economy. Sanders would likely be able to avoid mistakes like this with the advice of other people such as his cabinet. Some might also argue that Ted Cruz would make a better president as some of his issues includes securing borders and changing the immigration policy.
