On Bernie Sander’s official website, berniesanders.com, he shares his aspirations on how he is going to make college free and why it should be free. He starts off by sharing how other countries are making college free and why shouldn’t we? He wants the federal government to stop making a profit on student loans. He believes that it is not right to do such a thing to those who have the ambition to learn. His plan to pay for free college is by imposing a tax to Wall Street speculators. This is an idea that is completely disastrous. I imagine that if the minimum wage went up that high, most companies couldn’t afford having as many employees as they have right now. Raising the minimum wage would cost so many people their jobs. I imagine that the result that would effect everyone the most is price changes. Minimum wage was originally intended for part time workers and high school workers who want a little money in their pockets. I agree with Bernie Sanders on his website when he says that for those who work 40 hours a week under minimum wage should not be in poverty, but we should not raise the minimum wage to help the adults that are living off of minimum wage. Those adults need to find a real job that can pay more than the minimum
