And for the people going to college, who thinks they will be able to pay all the cost of a 4 year diploma?(very little people raise their hands) The problem of the cost of education is a problem that all students go thru. The total amount of student debt in this country is a little bit over 1 trillion dollars. Bernie Sanders believes that free college education should be a right. Germany, Chile, Finland, Sweden, and Denmark, are countries that either have or are planning to have free education. It is not logical these countries with smaller economies can implement free education, but the U.S with the world's largest economy cannot. With Bernie Sanders we can have free education, which would allow us to grow as a country. It will allow more underprivileged children to get a proper higher education. In conclusion, Bernie Sanders is the best Democratic candidate to vote for because he supports the FCC’s net neutrality rules, opposed NSA spying, and is against corporate greed. All of his stances add up to a person who will uphold and respect the individual's right to communicate freely. As the internet becomes a more important factor in American lives, it should not be up to corporations to decide who can and can’t participate in the free-flowing market of ideas. Throughout the years the people of the United States have Seen our Presidents repeat every action of the one before them, hoping something will change. Bernie Sanders has goals to eliminate tuition for public colleges and universities, implement a single-payer healthcare system, overhaul campaign finance regulations and put in place major Wall Street regulations to prevent future financial crises. These are all seemingly impossible dreams to accomplish but, he may accomplish them by his proficiency in the rhetorical elements of ethos, logos, and pathos. According to BYU, ethos means, “the persuasive appeal of one’s character”. Throughout the debate, Sanders attempted to make it seem like he was a righteous man, who will make good, moral decisions, for the betterment of all people.…

The battle between Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump has been heating up since the start. In other words, it's been leading to complications within the society of the American people. Bernie Sanders would be a better candidate because we would benefit more from him than from Trump since his proposals seem worthy enough to support the United States especially with the immigration problem. In addition, that with Sanders leading he would help out the US with it’s problems such as, immigration, foreign policy, and gun control rather than add more chaos as in Trump’s proposal. Also with his foreign policy change we could stop any other terrorist attacks rather than be feared and powerful which could lead to more terrorist assaults.…

Throughout Bernie Sanders' Campaign video, he is trying to put across that family and education are a big part of his life. He thinks that the country should be ready for when it's time for the next generation to be running for Presidential elections. He is telling a story during the video, how he wasn't raised in a house that had a lot of money, he knows what life is like for the poor. And that is why he wants to change that there are starving families in America because parents don't have jobs to support their families. He is going to do this by creating more jobs with decent paying rates, so that everybody has the chance to live and be healthy.…

It's that annoying time of year again with commercials all over the televisions, signs and decorations all over the lawns of houses, and you can't even listen to the radio with out hearing about it, and no it's not Christmas time it's election time. With Elections comes all the fanfair about who should we actually vote into office. Even though I personally believe politics has turned into a joke if I had to vote for somebody I would vote for Bernie Sanders. I believe Bernie Sanders should be president based on his view over the issues considering minimum wage, health care for veterans, and believing all public high education should be free. Minimum wage is the lowest amount a person can be paid for while working a job, but it is no where near enough money to live off of.…

It is against civil liberties to pay less to women for jobs equivalent to men’s. “Women workers today earn 78 percent of what their male counterparts make” (Senator Bernie Sanders). In response to this Bernie Sanders, like all the Democrats do, proposes to pay equally to women workers. After the preparation of a financial base the next step is the most massive piece of Sanders’s plan: rebuilding the crumbling infrastructure. Infrastructure is a fundamental part of our everyday life, and, because of this, Bernie Sanders wants a major rehaul of it.…

It was 8pm October 13th, the night of the first Democratic debate to be moderated by Anderson Cooper. The excitement was boiling over to see what policies the left wing had to offer America. I watched the first two Republican debates and heard nothing of any substance for moving the country forward, basically no plans or policies were ever discussed. I will admit, both of the GOP’s debates were extremely entertaining with the plethora of personal attacks that were exchanged. The independent that I am requires information from the left and the right prior to being able to make well informed vote in next year’s elections.…

Bernie Sanders who was born in 8th September 1941 is a junior American politician holding a senatorial seat of Vermont since 2007 and has the longest serving history in the US congress chambers and a former mayor of Burlington. In his political history Sanders has taken many positions on several political issues some of which had potential negative impacts on his political career. In his support for Franklin D. Roosevelt's proposal for the second bill of rights he took a bold step and identified a "democratic socialism" in his reaction to the ever widening gap between the rich and the poor sections of the American society. In his explanation of the democratic socialism, Sanders argues that democratic socialism means creating an inclusive economy system that caters for the interests of all Americans and not just for the wealthy section of the society (Bennis,1989). For national interest he calls for the reform of the entire political system which in his view is grossly unsuitable and in many aspects full of corruption recognizing the basic services such as the medical, education and security services for all, environmental protection and the creation of the vibrant democracy based on the universal suffrage of one man one vote.…

Why College Should be Free for Everyone One of the things people think of when they think about college is the cost of attending. Many people I know, peers and parents alike, are going or have gone to college with the intention of using loans to attain the ultimate goal, their degree. If America is so progressive, then why hasn’t the cost of college been lowered instead of going up yearly? College should not force people to go into debt for the majority of their lives to get a degree.…
