Who I am as a learner, well I will start off by means of saying I am a very caring person. I care a lot about my family who is a very precious aspect in my life. A person in my family that I really care about is my grandma Berlinda. I love to spend time with her because she is a very important person in my life. People also tell me that I am very friendly, because everywhere I go I make a friend and I love to make new friends. For example, one time my family and I went on a cruise and I met this girl in the swimming pool and instantly we hit it off, from that point on we were inseparable until we got off the ship. She was from Georgia and we did not get the opportunity to exchange contact information, so we not able to stay in contact. I am also a very helpful person. Once my brother was playing outside by the river while we were camping, he slipped and hurt himself. I assisted him by bringing him back to the campsite and getting him cleaned up. I am a very lovable and nurturing person. All the little kids wherever I go cling to me and I grow a close bond with each of them. I have a little neighbor girl who comes over my house to play and I take care of her as if she was my little sister. I have always been this way ever since I was a …show more content…
One of my strengths, I think, is math. The reason that I say this is because I have a good understanding and high grades in this class. Another one of my strengths is wanting to do my best at anything I do, but am dissapointed when I cannot fulfill the said task. One of my weaknesses is reading because of comprehension. I have a really hard time remembering and understanding what I have read. Therefore, another one of my weaknesses is writing because I have a difficult time being able to come up with enough things to write about on a certain subject. I am not very expressive with my writing and struggle with details so it is difficult to perform what is asked of

I have graded myself an 8 on the AP rubric. I have graded myself this numerical score because I constructed a sound thesis: “The author utilizes a parody and logical fallacies- portrayed as logos- to satirize how products are marketed to consumers.” Following my thesis, I directly analyzed how the author used these two devices to mock product advertisement. It is evident that I attempted to tie the examples given in both paragraphs to my central thesis statement in order to describe a trend in the author's writing style, tone, and to answer the prompt: as a 8 graded paper should. I believe that strengths in my writing include the clarity of my ideas and my ability to successfully answer the prompt.…

Taking the three assessments, it confirmed some things that I already knew about myself and some things that I did not even realize about myself. For the most part, I agreed with the assessments. In the first assessment emotional intelligence, I received a three for self-awareness; I was completely shocked by this, being that I never realized I am not self-aware of my emotions. This is quite true, because I spend majority of my time being more concerned with others feelings, making sure their okay and feeling well, while setting my feelings aside. I do realize by doing this, I sometimes have emotional break down and always wonder where they come from or how they came about.…

The three people I chose to ask about my strengths and weaknesses are: my mom, Keaton (Boss), and my best friend from home, AJ O’Bert. The first person I asked was my mom, because I usually am around her the most when I come home to Eden Prairie from Fargo. The strengths she thought I have are: determination, dedication, respectfulness and honesty. She felt that I show great determination in what I want to get out of things. An example she said is that I was very determined to get an internship for the upcoming summer of 2018 and that I wasn’t going to stop trying until I got one.…
