Based on the core resources of Berjaya Hotel and resort division (BHR) are including financial, physical and general organizational therefore, this three resources was enable them have major advantages to compete with competitors.
Through the annual report from financial resources, the result was clearly shown that their gross revenue and total asset was keep increasing by years therefore, this was proved that they have the better result on financial resources from the hotel and resort. Hence, strong financial position with excellent cash flow of the Berjaya Hotel and Resorts are leading them to better investment in superior physical assets such as able to improve machinery used in standard operating procedures to work more effectively and

This resort was located strategically which at Pulau Langkawi that poses a duty free status and as we know that Malaysia have only very few places have this duty free status, therefore this was deliver the unique features and be the priority condition to attract many tourists from other country and even local tourist come to visit Pulau Langkawi. Moreover, the Berjaya Times Square Hotels that located at the heart of the city’s banking, commercial and vibrant shopping district also be a strategic location which means it will attract a lot of leisure traveler and business traveler because the hotel was easy to access via road, monorail and bus so this may bring a lot of conveniences for tourist to visit all major attraction places around the city for example National Museum, KL Tower and so …show more content…
With the advanced machine was attracting a lot of tourists come to this resort not only for stay and also to experience their modern and highest level of body and face treatment. Since, most of the resort does not provide this types of state of art technology due to they may not have the enough financial to do it or even extra space to provide this services therefore, this means that it would be the advantages to the Chateau resort and definitely become their competitive
