Beowulf simplifies many traits as an epic hero because he shows that his fate is nothing but an epic hero’s way of life. Firstly Beowulf shows that he is an epic hero because he is born of noble birth. “My lord, the great king of Danes, command to tell you that he knows of your noble birth and that having come to him from over the open Sea you are bravely and are welcome.” (line127-130).
