Unferth, a Anglo-Saxon soldier, stated the Beowulf was a kind fearless warrior who had saved the Geats in their time of need. Before his death, Beowulf lived his life as a king for fifty years. He died at the dragon’s tower.
His greatest accomplishments are saving the Danish community from the monsters. He also saved his people, Geats, from the dragon.
Beowulf’s third battle, which led to his death happened in a battle against a dragon. Witnesses say that one of the dragon’s item was stolen from the dragon’s treasure. The item was a cup. Sources say, the dragon went on a search for his cup. He goes on a rampage, burning and killing everything in his way. Beowulf realizes that he must defend his people. His age was a big disadvantage, but his pride and love for his people would not let him back down from a fight. Twelve of his men scatter with fear as they see the dragon, leaving Beowulf and Wiglaf with the dragon. The dragon was defeated; Beowulf was also wounded and ended up dying. The treasure of the dragon was buried with him as a sign of triumph. This battle was his third and last battle.

The fight started the lake of Grendel’s mother but ended in a cave. Beowulf receives a sword from Unferth to fight in war. Going into this fight, Beowulf’s confidence isn’t so good.
