We have a vast range of heroes and the instruments we use have greatly changed. We have cell phones, computers, cars, guns, tanks, and so many other tools that we have to aid us. Like Steve Jobs who renovated technology by creating “Apple”, or bill gates who invested in one of the most prominent computer companies, Microsoft. Of course in times of Beowulf intellect wasn’t a key component. Nobody used their brains to survive, so they relied on power. No strategies, just keep hitting until one you are down. In the middle of the story when Beowulf was about to fight Grendel, he didn’t commence a plan, he just dove in and started fighting. Skirmishing, roaring, and whimpering Beowulf still continued the brawl with Grendel. Today we go to school and learn new things quotidian, math, science, history, English, constantly building and widening our brains. You have to challenge yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally. How do you think Lionel Messi became so good, Or Neymar and LeBron James? Nobody wakes up and just becomes a good athlete, teacher, student, or doctor. It takes time, effort, and dedication. If you want to be a hero to others, show them that you care about them. You would be saving them just by doing that. Michael Jordan didn’t make his high school basketball team. Did that stop him? He made it to the big leagues and even when he started out no one knew he would be one of the greatest basketball players ever. Like he said, “I've failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed. Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins
