What is a hero? We all know one, a hero is someone we look to in desperate times of need. Beowulf is one of the most iconic heroic figures back in the Anglo-Saxon days. The warrior Beowulf definitely shows characteristics of an epic hero through bravery, loyalty, generosity, friendship, achieving many things of great value. In my opinion Beowulf is one of my favorite hero’s and the reason I say this is because of his courage. He never backed down from any challenge. And Although Beowulf was a bit cocky it was kind of a good thing. Because if a hero was to help you with something thing then you would want them to have some type of confidence in themselves. What is a hero that is just as timid as you are?
