There was quite a bit of noticeable differences between the movie and the book, Beowulf. The biggest difference between the movie and book was that in the book it says nothing about Beowulf having a child. In the movie it shows he knows that the dragon was his son. In the movie, at the end, it shows Beowulf and his son dying together on the beach after fighting. In the book it says he just stabbed the dragon and the sword dispatched of it. Another difference between the book and the movie is that in the movie it shows that Beowulf doesn’t come back with the head of Grendel’s mother after “fighting her”. The movie just shows that Beowulf comes back with a story about killing the beast. In the book it says that Beowulf brought back the head
