The next battle against the mighty dragon Beowulf used a lot of critical thinking that help Beowulf with his victory. Many people use critical thinking to solve problems in real life. In fact in some of Beowulf’s battles he used his critical thinking to win against his fearful foes, or even determine how to prepare for the battle. Beowulf was a smart man when it came to fighting, so he was well prepared for every battle he fought. He knew what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. In two of his battles Beowulf critically thought the most in the entire story and that was when fighting the first villain, Grendel. In that battle he was well planned and that worked out for the better. Another battle was against the fearsome dragon that basically ended the epic. He won that one but it also ended up costing his life to end Beowulf on a sad note.
