Beowulf Battle Against The Dragon Analysis

In the fight between Beowulf and the dragon Beowulf goes into the fight armored up with a sword. He brings his men to help him fight but all left except one. Beowulf weapons and armor were no match for the acid and fire spitting dragon. In order to defeat the beast Beowulf depended on his fellow warrior Wilgaf so Beowulf could make the final blow. During the fight Beowulf is severely injured. As he is shown the treasure the wound has proven deadly. Beowulf then gives Wilgaf advice on life and the ways of the warrior. Explains to him that this treasure is to better the people and that Wilgaf should his heir to the throne.
The next battle against the mighty dragon Beowulf used a lot of critical thinking that help Beowulf with his victory. During the battle with Beowulf it was a sign of experience because when Beowulf’s men left he did not tremble because Beowulf is used to fight alone like he did in the fight with Grendel. Many people use critical thinking to solve problems in real life. In fact in some of Beowulf’s battles he used his critical thinking to win against his fearful foes, or even determine how to prepare for the battle. Beowulf was a smart man when it came to fighting, so he was well prepared for every battle he fought. He knew what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. In two of his battles Beowulf critically thought the most in the entire story and that was when fighting the first villain, Grendel. In that battle he was well planned and that worked out for the better. Another battle was against the fearsome dragon that basically ended the epic. He won that one but it also ended up costing his life to end Beowulf on a sad note.
