The story of Beowulf and Odyssey have many comparisons and some differences.

They are great stories to read when you have time. They take place between 500 AD

and 700 AD. The way of looking up to the heroes was way different back then rather

than today. Both of the stories contain an epic hero,”Beowulf” contains Beowulf and

Odyssey has Odysseus. Which are both epic Heroes but show it In a different style.

They are considered as Heroes back then but being one today would be very difficult.

Beowulf is an ancient epic hero that takes place in 500 AD Scandinavia. He fights in

three big battles. The first one is Grendel, Grendel's mother and the Dragon. He is an

epic hero who fights evil and does good for the people. He is very honored

Beowulf and Odysseus are both looked upon as epic heroes. They both had to travel

and fight evil. As epic heroes they really stand out on their abilities. Beowulf stands out

by being very strong and fighting all the monsters that no one wants to. Odysseus is

very smart, he has a lot of wisdom. This makes them look above average, which tells

people that they aren't like the rest. Being a hero sometimes means you will do anything

for your loved one. Back when Odysseus was traveling back and he came back home.

To find out that it was taking over by the suitors, that have been flirting with his wife and

eating all their food. When he finds this out, he sneaks up and kills all of them. The

same thing happens when he was on the Island of the cyclops, all of his men get killed.

An epic hero doesn't have to act how we believe he has to act but that he shows great

skill and abilities that stand out of everyone's and also has many accomplishments.

Which both of them show when they are fighting the monsters and going through their

journey.

Showing loyalty and bravery these both characters are putting others in front
