This is Bently, Bently Bear. Bently was no ordinary bear, he was a friendly bear. Bently played tag, hide and go seek, and soccer with his friends everyday at school. Bruno the Bunny. Bruno was a mean, annoying, and selfish bunny. Bruno never liked Bently and he never seemed to have a reason. He would trip Bruno in the halls and kick the soccer balls at him during recess. But why was Bruno so mean to Bently?

One day, Bently was super excited for school. It was Valentine's Day! He had gotten up early to make his valentines for all his friends. On each card he wrote a name and chattered "This one is for Marvin," "this one is for Thomas," "this one is for Gabby," and "this one is for Bruno." When he was finished he stuck a red cherry lollipop to each card, and piled them into his paper bag. Bently was thrilled to give the cards to all his friends.
