It definitely was not the first time he was trying to prove such a foul statement. I was confident that the teachers wouldn’t even bother to come to me to have that type of discussion. Spencer to get John’s examination done. Mr. Spencer took me to John’s 1st period class, his class was a 2nd grade addition math class. We arrived to the classroom, I could just see the nervous look in John’s face. Mr. Spencer, asked John to step into the hallway. Mr. Spencer spoke at John in a harsh intimidating tone.
“John we have contacted your mother, and she approves of us having your leg examined and also your nose, for any real injuries that you could possibly sustain”.
All of sudden John yells in a screech filled tone.
“Well punk!, I guess you want a real injury don’t you!” He jumped onto me, he punched me in the nose, he grabbed my leg. There was a stop. John’s dad grabbed John, and walked away with John’s arm in a tight lock as much as the real tough and buff as John Cena the wrestler himself. John had me in such a tight headlock that I could hardly breath.
As I walked onto the bus on the Friday. It was the last day of school, before spring break. Mr. Spencer had John come up to me and apologize. As I walked into the bus, I smiled and spoke with a friendly tone, you have no idea what is coming your way, but don’t worry, it won’t be something that I will commit. After that brief talk, I stepped into the school bus. Awaiting a nice, comfortable, non-school week, without

Attack When a mindset brings forth both failure and success, it is difficult to understand its effectiveness. In my athletic career, I experience both victory and defeat as a direct result of aggressiveness. I would rather reflect upon my athletic careers and think “I cannot believe I did that,” rather than think “I wish I did that”. Whether it be stealing home late in a baseball game with my team down by two or trying to granby-roll my opponent while I am up by ten, I refuse to be conservative in athletics. During my junior wrestling season nearly every one of my losses were a result of over-aggressiveness.…

During my Junior year of high school, I was diagnosed with Autoimmune Hepatitis with liver cirrhosis. Cirrhosis is the development of scar tissue left on the liver when the liver becomes scarred. During my hospital stay, a four night stay which included a biopsy, colonoscopy, and multiple ultrasounds, I was told by my doctors that I would never be able to play contact sports ever again due to the amount of scarring developed on my liver. If I were to get hit in just the right spot, my liver could lacerate and leave me internally bleeding, giving me a small window to get medical help. Being from a small town where sports mean everything to the community, they also mean everything to me.…
