Benjamin Franklin's Ruxiao

“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I may learn.” This quote came from a book that is called Ruxiao . It comes from this paragraph and this is what it says stated differently. “Not having heard something is not as good as having heard it; having heard it is not as good as having seen it; having seen it is not as good as knowing it; knowing it is not as good as putting it into practice.”That is an explanation of what Ben said. He stated “involve me and I may learn” this meant when he was being involved into it and studied it a little more he would remember and learn from it. Benjamin Franklin was born on January 17th, 1706. He grew up in Boston, Massachusetts and he also went to school there. Ben’s parents were Josiah and Abiah. Abiah his mother died after having 10 other kids with Josiah. Before Abiah, Josiah had 7 children with Anne Child Franklin. Benjamin had 16 siblings and he was one of the youngest. His family wasn’t poor or wealthy they had money to live off of. As Benjamin got older he married a woman by the name of Deborah Read Rogers (Franklin). They got married with Deborah on September 1st, 1730,He then had eight children with her.Deborah Read Franklin suffered a stroke on December 14, 1774, and died on December 19, 1774, while Benjamin was on an extended trip to England. Ate the age of 12 he stopped going to school because he had to work for his father in his candle making shop. He had to focus more on his father's candle business so he didn’t go to school anymore. He started working for his father and from there he started experimenting things. While experimenting he invented things like electricity. He then invented the bifocals noticing he couldn’t see as well because he was getting older. He was smart, further education came from his personal studies. Ben studied things on his own and with all that time studying he invented more
