Benjamin Franklin was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 17,1706. He was one of seventeen children. His father had enough money to send him to school for only two years. He attended Boston Latin school but did not graduate. Schooling ended when he was 10 years old. Franklin went to Philadelphia to get away from the contract that hIs brother made him sign. When he arrives at Philadelphia he decided he wants to be moral perfection. He decide, " I wished to live without committing any fault at any time" ( Franklin 72). He didn't want to make any mistakes during his lifetime. A couple of his virtues are cleanliness, order, silence, and justice. These represents the enlightenment ideas because they show how a person should better themselves
