Benjamin Franklin was so devoted to education; he founded the first library in America in 1731, and chartered it in 1742 as the Philadelphia Library. Franklin believed that education was the key to life that it could solve in problem in the world. Franklin valued formal education and schooling. In 1794, Benjamin Franklin established a plan for English Language Grammar school in Philadelphia. The school would teach English, rather than Latin, and would have built o curriculum that illustrated scientific and practical skills. Unfortunately, his English Language Grammar did not come to existence. Although it did not flourish, Benjamin had a huge impact on education, and achieved many goal in his lifetime.
In 1970, Benjamin Franklin passed away. It was a huge loss for America, but he set so many standards for our country. Benjamin was a great man; he influenced many lives. His historical events and impacts on America will live on
