In the “Coming of Age” theme from the novel Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the World written by Benjamin Alire Sáenz, relates to the ways I have grown or changed since I graduated middle school. Here at Seaholm, on my second year I have learned and developed some new skills such as improving my work ethic, learning importance of friendships, and how I went out of my comfort zone throughout my first and second year at Seaholm.After graduating Derby Middle School, I reflected on the importance of friendships and remembered how easy it was to make friends, but how hard it was to lose some. Since then , I have lost and I have gained some friends and I revealed how I should become a better self.

After a while I adjusted to the “system” and put as much effort as I could into my school work and homework.
The idea of becoming mature was one thing I developed when I first went into seaholm. I was just a tiny little naive freshman thinking that if I did something wrong I would get in trouble. But getting advice/help from teachers and friends helped me become wiser in my decisions (and planning things out too). I grew as a person at Seaholm because I learned how to express myself, and that although not all people might agree with you, other students or teachers will be supportive of your decisions.
Something that changed from middle school to high school is my sleeping schedule. I would always get up around 6:45 in middle school so I could get ready although it would start at 8:15. Now that I have to take the bus, and it comes at 6:37, I wake up at 5:45, and 6 on x-block days. I like making plans with my friends over the weekends, but when I get lazy on a friday night I just end up sleeping for 5 hours. I wake up thinking that I am late to school and get a panic attack cause I hate being
