A benefit when joining the military is that the government helps pay for your educations, and there are many scholarships and job opportunities waiting for veterans and or military members waiting to be deployed. Veterans don't get a lot a benefits for their service but schooling is something that the government does help them with. Military service, members have access to $4,500 a year in tuition assistance or TA. Service members can also have a GI Bill benefits, which is several Department of Veterans Affairs education programs, this program is good to do while in active duty because one thats one less thing you have to do when you’re home, you can also have it ready for you when you get home, whether that being a college picked for credits
