While some students rely solely on financial aid to get through college, some students’ families aren’t eligible for loans or they just don’t want to risk taking any out so students need a job to put them through college. Zac Bissonnette, from daily finance, who believes that students have plenty time to work says, “The average college student who borrows money for school graduates with about $24,000 in debt -- or $6,000 per year, assuming your kid graduates in four years. But if your child works enough to earn $115.38 per week (after-tax), that's enough to reduce that $6,000 per year in borrowing to 0 -- a debt-free college grad.” Working through college can take away some of the fiscal stress of being in school. Having money for things like binders, pens, pencils, laptops, note books, textbooks, highlighters, and other organizational tools can help a lot with a student’s studies. Students having the money, provided by part time jobs, to access these supplies will aide in a students’ success. The money earned from a student’s part time job can also go to food, laundry, and hygiene products to keep the student nourished and clean.
