The benefit of using a relational database is that it can help the efficiency of data storage by avoiding data duplication. It is very easy to change data and the format of it which can be added or removed easily. The data can only be stored once so no more than one record change is needed. Relational databases are used to work together by primary key and foreign key as this creates a link between more than one table. By this it can use the attributes and entities within the database which makes it easier to access. As this creates a link between each table such as if a customer was to buy a product, a record is then made this will store their information such as their first name, surname and adds a unique Customer ID in the customer table. The product table will store information such as the title, price and Unique product ID. Now …show more content…
This will let users to lower search times instead of users having to find a lot of attributes with in the relational databases. Users will also be able to filter queries to find something in particular of what they are looking for.
Another benefits of relational database is that there are many databases that can be sorted so it looks more organised for example if it is about customer, then their details such as name, address, driving license will be in the customer table. Another example is that if it is about a product then it will have its own unique ID, Title, Quantity, price and many more.

Another benefit of database is that users can create reports that has a feature which allows the user to format the database into the report. Instead of users creating reports from scratch, they can add a new one from the database, this will save time and money. Users can design these reports to however they want and make it look more appealing when looking at different kinds of
