I knew before I applied to Liberty University that I wanted to be a part of the Honors Program. Some like it, many hate it, but one thing has remained a constant at UAFS since it opened its doors in 1928, which is its status as a “dry” campus. A dry campus simply means that the possession and/or consumption of alcohol is prohibited on campus grounds, regardless of age. Some argue that having a dry campus that many students are being put at risk because of the University policies that urge students to leave campus when it comes to drinking. It has been said that Universities that choose to remain dry are risking the lives of the leaders of tomorrow for better statistics today. M Certainly the most attractive thing about Penn is the diverse community. The most important part of my college search was finding a school that replicated the tight-knit community of my high school. Seeing the diverse student body interact while strolling down Locust Walk was a reassuring sight. There were many different clubs advertising their cause, there were students dancing on the street, others were conversing, and some were simply walking to class. UTSA Almost two years ago at UTSA, I had this farfetched goal of transferring to UT. I would sit at my desk on the internet late at night and during study breaks I would look up everything about UT.
