The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) is an organization for students involved in the pre-med program, residents and other majors in the medical field. The Student National Medical Association is a well-developed group; it is a society that 's run by students and its purpose is to educate students interested in medical fields. This organization is very much recommended for students interested in entering a medical field. The Student National Medical Association gets involved in the community by providing help and advice about health. The organization is beneficial to more than just students.

The Student National Association does everything that 's possible to reach out to the community by approaching people in the community about health and how they can improve their lifestyles. The SNMA Reach Out page states " SNMA conducts annual health fairs across the nation. Targeted to under served communities and those with limited access to health care, members educate thousands of individuals about the importance of healthy living and provide screenings for common health conditions, such as high blood pressure and diabetes."
