Have you heard about superfoods? Many people have heard about superfoods but not many know what it really is. Superfoods are basically foods that are calorie sparse and nutrient dense which mean it is very good for someone to lose weight at the same time still have enough nutrients. When we think of healthy foods most people will think of plants and vegetables and that is absolutely correct, superfoods are mostly plant-based but there are also different kinds of superfoods. 4 main benefits superfoods have are that they can maintain a healthy heart, boost the immune system, regulate metabolism, and better skin. Our bodies are surrounded by different kinds of toxins daily. Toxins can invade our body from almost everywhere, whether if it’s from air or water. Some superfoods are wonderful at detoxicating and at the same time boosting the immune system. Avocado, cabbage, and lemon are fantastic for detoxification.
