Even though recess can take some time out of classes it can have many benefits as well. Recess can have some physical health benefits and some mental/emotional health benefits, it can also help students pay better attention and not get distracted as easily in class. Recess has a lot of physical health benefits for students. One physical health benefit of recess is it helps to prevent obesity. Recess can also help to prevent cardiovascular disease in children.
