When I was in elementary school my favorite part of the day was when the teacher said, "Was I ready to go outside and play." That's the moment that my heart to pound and I just felt joy and excitement because I knew recess meant a break and freedom. In today's society though teachers and other faculty and even some parents are trying to that away from the children. Taken recess away from kids may cause more problems than its worth. In order for kids to stay healthy, refresh their attention span and learn how to interact with others, teachers and principals will have to start allowing recess back into the school systems.
