A child adapts well and learns best from things done consistently. Designate where your child’s underwear, potty and wipes will be located. Make sure that the designated locations are all accessible to your child and remain the same throughout the potty training lesson. Next schedule time intervals for bathroom sessions, contingent on how much your child drinks throughout the day. Be sure to incorporate a daily cutoff time for fluids. This will be very beneficial to allow the child to fully empty their waste before bed, and to prevent bedwetting. The two most important times you should have listed on your schedule is when they first wake up and before they go to sleep. A child may always say that they do not have to use the restroom when oftentimes they do. It is also best to keep the intervals spaced out to give them time to “reload”. Whether you take them to the bathroom every or two hours make sure it is the same everyday. The more you follow course your child will too, which will result in a free mama and a potty trained child.
Potty training is a new step for the you and your child. Always keep in mind that potty training your child requires patience. Make the learning process fun for them, such as little rewards for good progress and it will be smooth sailing for you. Completion means freedom for you and a feeling of maturity for your child. The road to victory will be tough but I promise you
