Benefits Of Open Carry Law

Improved Essays
The reason why I’m for the open carry law is because it’s basically for your protection. Some people need to have a handgun if someone tries to kidnap you. Mostly people need handguns for when all the crimes happens like at night time or in the middle of the day. Now all people want to do is play with their guns and fire them for no reason or try to be popular because they have a gun. That’s all young kids or teenagers do now is talk about killing someone or there selves.

First, I think personally 18 years old shouldn’t be the age for people to start carrying around handguns or rifles because they’re not mature enough to handle them. These days they like to go into clubs and start violence and shoot their guns all over the place out of know where. They like to be childish and do stupid stuff when they have a weapon, and all they end up doing is going to prison or getting killed for trying to kill someone. They like to be in gangs and other groups and when they get into some trouble with the police they like to cry and say they didn’t shoot or kill anyone. That’s why I think handguns shouldn’t be for everyone. If I had a handgun I would think it’s cool to have one at the age I’m right now cause everyone would be like he got a gun nobody better not mess with him cause he will kill you or try to shoot you cause he said he don’t care about killing no one at any day or any time.

Some places are giving out huge fines for people bringing them inside their business with them. Because someone can look or say something wrong then they feel like they can just shoot them. I’m for the open carry law inside restaurants as long as they don’t fire at anyone. But with them passing the law people is going to start doing whatever they want to do with their

This fear is perpetuated by a series of disadvantages of the open carry law as delineated. First, the open carry law deprives the gun users of their major tactical advantage, which is concealment. In the law of combat, the criminal always targets those armed first than any other person. This implies that the enactment of this open carry law has made the gun user more vulnerable to attack by unidentified enemies. This is why many of the users who understand the technicalities that are associated with shooting are adamant to embrace the open carry…

January 1, 2016 the open carry law went into effect to the public after its first debut in June of last year in Texas. The open carry law has been passed in 44 other states not including Texas. The law allows citizens the ages of 18 and older to carry firearms openly with the fact Texas, a state of high crime rate, passed the open carry law (OCL). This law increases crimes such as murders and increases inmate population; the law gives the public a opportunity to make more poor decisions. Texas its self has enough serious issues as it is, passing the law puts us in a state of great danger; not only to the citizens of our state , but most importantly the innocent elders and children.…

The 10th amendment of the United States constitution should have contained the specific powers that are within the states themselves, but there is not an explicit example of the powers that should have been given to the states and should still be in effect within the states to this day or at least a form of which. Whether the powers were changed, eliminated, or remained the same throughout the years, there should have been at least some kind of form or documentation as to what the states should be able to do and what they would need the federal government’s permission and/or assistance to do. These powers of the states are actually the rights of the states that are supposed to be protected by the constitution. If the rights were explicitly…

Some citizens worry that people with a gun permit might take action too quickly because access to a weapon is only an arm’s reach away. Since May 2007, there have only been 863 deaths caused by someone with a concealed weapon permit, while 60,000 homicides in the United States in the same amount of time. Too often concealed weapons are looked at as the problem or issue in a crime, rather than the people carrying them. There are many ways to prevent people that are not responsible, nor sane enough from owning weapons. Due to media, along with unstable people, carrying concealed weapons is looked at in a negative way rather than positive, thus leading to many feeling that weapons do more harm rather than good. Carrying a handgun is a right, a right that the people in our country fought for and are still fighting to ensure.…
