Can music make you smarter? In middle school kids aren't allowed to listen to music, especially when they are working. I think that Music should be allowed in middle schools even when working.

Music helps people remember better. Scientific studies show that babies respond to the music even before they are born. If you study with music playing you are more likely to remember the flash cards or whatever you are studying. You remember it because of the catchy tunes in music.
