Valerie, I do agree with your decision taking the risk is something I wouldn’t be willing to do. Although I’ve never experienced a miscarriage I wouldn’t put myself in that situation to possibly have a miscarriage. With having a friend that miscarried I know the toll it took on her and could just imagine what you had to go through. So the fact that this could possibly increase the chance to having a miscarriage, I would opt out of it. My goal would be to seek other ways to determine disorders and abnormalities during my pregnancy. I agree this decision should be guided by our spiritual leader and not by the world’s opinions on how to deal with an abnormality pregnancy.
