When you are able to drive it saves time and effort for the both of you, and more can get done in less time. You would also have more fun if you can drive yourself around, because everyone's idea of fun is different, and being able to go where you want on your own means no one can tell you no and no one will be bored. While it is true that one out of nine teens will get in a wreck, this does not account for the fact that if you raise the driving age it will just be one out of nine young adults over eighteen. Raising the driving age will just raise the age of the people in the statistic. I believe this happens because it is about how much experience you have driving,…

Along with decline of car crashes, the amount of deaths from suicide, homicide, and non-vehicle unintentional injuries also changed dramatically with the age change. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, increasing the minimum drinking age to 21 was credited with having saved 18,220 lives on the nation’s highways between 1975 and 1998. Also, other studies have found that the law was responsible for a 19% net decrease in fatal crashes involving young drivers, and is still responsible for saving around 1,000 young lives each…

The driving age among teens should be increased because facts prove that teenagers cannot handle the physiological and physical challenges that approach them on the road.…

Conversely, increased minimum legal drinking age of 21years reduced underage road crash around 16% and improved the road safety among age 21 to 25 years ( Toumbourou et al., 2014, p.569). In this study ( Miron & Tetelbaum, 2008, p. 317) cited Crandall et al ( 1986, p. 47 )’s…
