Water is a natural gift given to us by nature. Some of us drink it when we are thirsty and some of us drink it when we are fully hydrated. The surprising thing is that there are some people who do not like drinking water at all. In fact, we need water to keep our health well no matter who we are. The importance of drinking water for our bodies is paramount to our health, because it makes up to 70 percent of our bodies’ weight. Drinking water regularly in daily basis is the best gift we can offer to our bodies, since the water can give us a lot of benefits such as it can maintain the balance of body fluids, control body weight and calories and make our skin healthier and looking good. One benefit of drinking water is it helps maintain the balance of body fluids since our body is composed of about 60% of water. These body fluids include in the process of digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients and maintenance of body …show more content…
Regular and plentiful water consumption can improve the color and texture of our skin by keeping the skin to build new cells properly. Not only that, water also can flush out all the toxins in the body that can cause the skin to inflame which can reduce the risk of pimples . Drinking water also helps the skin do it's job of regulating the body's temperature through sweating. Also, water is essential for the proper circulation of nutrients in the body so, it can ensure that nutrients are delivered to cells which help in keeping skin hydrated and plump. Thus, plump cells can help our skin look firmer. According to a clinical professor of plastic surgery, when the skin is hydrated, plump, and elastic, it is less likely to crack and let in external particles that can cause irritations and blemishes (Julius, n.d.).
