The charter school will locate in Alabama within the next couple of years to give the students and the parent’s a choice to choose where they want their child or children to attend to get a better education. The most common statistical fact about charter school is desegregation. The desegregation was continuing after the Supreme Court declared a law called the Brown vs. Board of education where black, whites, and Hispanics were separated but equal. The unanimous court wrote “that a quality education was crucial for all children and ruled that it was the state’s responsibility to ensure educational equality”. Charter schools has too much freedom for the students. More freedom there is more disciplinary actions there will be because students tend to get outrageous when there are no rules involved. A charter school is a school that receives a funding where no tuition are costing for the child to attend the school. The main issue about charter schools is the standardize test scores. Charter school are scoring below the proficient level which is considering a failing school. The parents do have a choice to where they would like for their child to go to school but they really have to do some research and background check on that school before they sign their child or children up for that specific charter school.
