Why I Want To Be A Rec Center Director Essay

The most asked question to any kid is what you want to be when you grow up. That question is often answered with being an astronaut, a doctor, or some sort of animal because of our imaginations when we were kids. Since I first heard that question I always wanted to be in the health industry, but I never knew exactly what I wanted to be until I was in high school. Since then I have been researching a job in Corporate Wellness, Recreation Facilities Director, and even a trainer for professional athletes. It seems weird that my dream of working in this field is about to come true in the next year as I graduate from RSU with a bachelors in Fitness Management. There are other qualifications that person must have in order to apply for this job such first aid, CPR, AED certifications, and some places also require for someone to be accredited by ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) and pass coursework through CHES (Certified Health Education Specialist).
