Then the money that they do get may not be enough for them to live off of, there is also the change that they had suffered from a major injury as well as to pay for therapy to help them get by. But this stereotype could have started way back in the earlier wars when soldiers were not even given an education before, during, or after they had served in the war or even gotten any help from the government. So from there it had just been floating along with each generation of veteran explaining how bad the veterans have got for them, but with new programs that instruct our soldiers they gain skills that may very well help them when they are done with their service. That may carry on to a job in the civilian world and along with movements that get that government more involved as well with new groups and organizations that help veterans both financially, physically, and mentally. veterans they are our heroes and protectors of all that we hold dear from all that may take it from us, but there are people who see them as a person with unsound mind and broken beyond repair. There were various subject that were left out that were need to be covered but there is not enough space or time to write about them so in the first paragraph which was mainly about PTSD and how people thought it had affect the people who have versus how it actually affects a person. Then how the stereotype of how veterans are unintelligent, unskilled, and highly likely to become homeless once done with their service, whereas in reality they are actually very intelligent and their work has given them a valuable skill to enter the civilian workforce. There is a stereotype where veterans are seen as drug and alcohol addicts and are completely impolite to other people, but even though a lot may seen very rude not all are primitive but there is not much you can do for someone 's attitude. As for the alcohol and drug addiction the drug part may seem true for it can help them at that moment but not the long run, as for the alcohol a veterans drink as much as a regular civilian would according to a study.
