AVID is a four commitment that I’m ready to enter in order to prepare me for college. I want to continue what I started in seventh grade and enroll in AVID at EDHS so I can possibly learn more than I already know for taking one semester before transferring to EDHS. I know I stopped going to AVID after only attending one semester, but I’m ready to start taking AVID more seriously now than I was before. If I want something, I’ll go after it, so that’s why I want to enroll into AVID again. I’ll do anything to get into this if it means that I’ll get the required skills that will help me once I get into a college. I’m already planning on taking summer school to get that extra elective, and that can be AVID if I get accepted into the program. I’ll make sure that I meet the expectations to ensure that I can attend the best college for me. …show more content…
I want to be the second son in my family to attend and graduate college so I won’t have to get a job that can barely help me get through life. AVID was something I’ve wanted to do, but only got to do for a semester, since I wanted to try other things with limited amount of elective slots that I had, but once I get three electives, I’ll make sure that picking AVID won’t be a semester long for me and instantly regret it when I finally have to start to think about college in my senior year. All I want is to do the best for me if it means that I can learn everything I need to know so I use my full potential once I get accepted and start attending the college I have to choose yet. Going along with the college statement, I’ll know which college I should take if I attend college than hoping that a college one of my older siblings took will have a course that will help me pursue my dream of being a
