Who wouldn’t like the idea of being effortlessly healthy while saving thousands of lives? I am coming up on my one year anniversary of becoming vegan and I can honestly say I have never been happier. I struggled with acne for years and finally I can go without makeup and feel truly beautiful in my own skin. My weight no longer fluctuates like it used to, I lost ten pounds of fat and liquid within my first month of following a healthy vegan diet. My mental clarity has never been so amazing, I sleep much better than I used to and I feel more motivated in my daily life. I used to suffer from bouts of depression quite regularly but with all of my other problems clearing up, I feel like I am on top of the world. The progress in my body isn’t the best part for me though, it’s the difference I know I am making for the planet and all the living organisms on it. Being an activist, speaking up for the animals that have no voice has truly made me feel like I am no longer just a spec of dust in the universe but I, along with everyone around me, have the opportunity to make colossal differences everywhere. My journey started with the actions of other activists trying to make a difference, and I will do my part to pass on the good deeds. An open mind and a desire for more knowledge is a great way to start any journey. With more than 7.5 million people in the
