The problem in today s workforce is the lack of mentoring from upper level management. A firm that leads to lower level and mid-level employees has problems with customer relations and do not know how to communicate ideas to make the firm more beneficial. With research and further reading I will outline the benefits of a mentoring program, how to handle time constraints, and benefits you could receive from being a mentor.

Having excellent customer service by having your customers more interacted with customers and know how to handle situations in a better manner can lead to better customer satisfaction rates. With higher customer satisfaction rates will generate more profit with those customers that will continue to buy from your firm. Gaining loyal employees that can lead to a reduction in lower turnover rates which will then save you money on recruitment and training cost. This program will create a more positive work environment, foster the mentor’s leadership skills and conveys customers within the company that the management staff is willing to invest in its members and employees. Now for the mentoring program manager, this program will help the manager’s management and leadership skills. This program will teach the program manager how to work efficiently in an environment with different people and personalities. For the mentoree, some beneficial outcomes for them are to improve interpersonal relationship skills and self-confidence when talking to customers and upper level managers in the organization. Teaching the mentoree how to speak up and be heard is also another possible benefit. According to management-mentors.com mentoring, “Educates the mentoree on how to accept feedback in important areas, such as communications, technical abilities, change management, and leadership skills” (25 Benefits of Mentoring - Corporate Mentoring). This quote I believe shows the most important benefits of a mentoree in using a mentoring program in the organization. Finally for the mentor of the program they can benefit on allowing the mentor to give back to the organization and mentorees, learn about other parts of the organization. This mentoring program I created would insist of monthly meetings with employees that you would be mentoring. Since there are so many lower-level and mid-level employees, there would have to be a group selection process,
