Credit cards can be used just like or better than cash because transactions processed via credit happen faster, at any time, and often from anywhere. Credit cards allow us a humans to support the global community, while actually exposing our local merchants to additional goods, services, and resources they may not have had access or exposure to. Many people say money talks, but so does plastic and in many ways much louder. If a child or teen were to go into a store with five-hundred dollars not only would they be severely preyed upon by numerous sales associates, but there would be a preconceived notion that that individual wasn’t as serious or able to make a well thought out purchase as say an adult ten to twenty years their senior. Not to mention, it would pose the threat of a placing a huge target on that individual from strangers. Carrying around credit card empowers all individuals regardless of their place in life. Carrying credit card conceals wealth or lack thereof. Carrying a credit card can also help one adjust to making smarter choices in the long run, because you do have records or what you spent and when and you are able to better account for those items overtime. Where usually with cash payments you can lose the receipt or not collect one at all and forget where your money went to begin
