They speak to and listen carefully to their patients and from there try find out as much information as they can from this person to find them a treatment that suits them the best, and will help them solve their problems. Some of the disorders that these psychologists work with are substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. I have also read online that accomplishing a clinical psychology degree takes a long time, and of course you have to attend graduate school and most of the times earn your doctorate degree. Doing the interview gave me a second opinion and view of what it really is to do a clinical psychologist job. Dengrove is what motivates her to get it done at the end of the day. She describes her days as being different, and she knows that people feel good when they are being listened to and in the end that is rewarding. Her jobs are easy to adapt to and she has different tools to help her get them done. When asked to rate her job from one being easy to ten being hard Dr. Dengrove reminded that it all depended on what she was doing, with whom she was working and her relationship towards that person. In the end she rated her job from a three to an eight or nine. Her answer was interesting because it means that her job is not constant sometimes she could have easy days in her job, but other days could be challenging.
