Compensation is one of the many reasons that bring every employee into work every day. Compensation is displayed by several practices of gifts in exchange for employees carrying out their jobs. Compensation can make an individual apply for a job or to leave a job offering better benefits. This paper will discuss compensation in a little more detail and what are some advantages and disadvantages of using web- based compensation tools using a computerized system or stand-alone PC based system. Explain the use of e-Compensation tools in the job- evaluation process from the probable of HR, management, and the employee. E-Compensation embodies a web based method to a selection of reimbursement tools that allow an organization to come together to meet, supply, and influence, inspect, use, and allocate compensation information. The term e-compensate means computer network software tools that enable managers to successfully design, administer, and communicate compensation programs. What distinguishes e-compensation from previous compensation software is that e-compensation is computerized instead of computer system verses a computer that is by itself (Gueutal & Stone, 2005).
Obstacles that Prevent Organizations from Realizing Web based Potential
The barriers that hinder organizations from recognizing the prospective of web based utensils are communications hole, self-centeredness, and mistrust. The HR manager is unable to state the issues that is going with the web based utensils are not used to decreasing wages or downgrading individuals. Honest, self-absorption can also limit the company from comprehending these necessary utensils (Gueutal & Stone, 2005). Three approaches to overcome these obstacles are: To have better communication with employees, to be open to suggestions from others, and last have training to prevent the stress of web based system.
