Ben Utecht's Wedding Ring

Christian NFL player Ben Utecht revealed in a book that he wore his wedding ring even before he got married as a way to ward off temptation of sexual sin.
In an interview with The Christian Post earlier this week, Utecht explained that after he proposed to Karyn, they had to wait two years to get married because of their separate careers. Karyn at that time was living in Minnesota and the former NFL star was busy with his football career in Indianapolis. Because they only saw each other once a month during that time, their relationship was pretty challenging.
Utecht said he came up with the idea of wearing a wedding ring in public to help him resist sexual temptation which usually besets famous athletes. He told his fiancée about it and they
