I interviewed Ben Munkelwitz, the freshman, the man, the legend. I’ve known Ben since middle school, however, I never talked to him very much. I would sometimes say hi if I saw him in the hallways, or on the bus. It wasn’t until I interviewed him when I figured out how intelligent and cool he really was. I wish I became better friends with him sooner, because he's truly a personable guy once you get to know him. Firstly, his personal life is one of solitude and having a fun time. He mostly likes to sit at home and play Xbox, because he really enjoys relaxation and isolation from other people. He comes off as a lazy or an antisocial type of person. Nevertheless, he is very active and loves to play sports. He plays basketball and baseball …show more content…
His earliest memory is of Christmas, when he was five; he just got his first Bionicle, it was a red toa. It was so memorable, because after that moment he played with Bionicles all through his childhood. His most traumatic memory is when he broke his leg. It was a warm, sunny day and he and a friend were playing basketball at his house. They were exhausted, but still determined to win. He when for a layup and his friend jump up to block him, his friend landed on his leg when they came down. It was immensely painful, he cried for almost two hours. After, he had to go to the hospital to get a cast, it was the worst day of his life. Nonetheless, he came laugh about it now. His most prominent memory of this school year was when failed a test in physical science. He became depressed and vowed it would not happen again. He really does care about his academic success, notwithstanding he can be negligent in studying. His most treasured memory is with his grandparents up North. It was his first time swimming in a lake; his grandpa played football with him, and they went out to eat after. That weekend he also went hunting with his grandpa, it was his first time for this too. He didn’t shoot anything, but he still had a blast. It was an unparalleled to any weekend he had
