Ben Carson was a student at the University of Michigan of Medicine. After Ben graduated from medical school, Ben than moved his family to Baltimore. In 1884 Ben begun his residency training at the John Hopkins University Medical Center. John Hopkins is where Ben went on to direct Pediatric Neurosurgery for twenty nine years. John Hopkins is the place where Ben successful separated conjoin Japanese twins. Mr. Carson went on to make many accomplishment. For example, he holds sixty seven honorary doctorate degrees.

They were amazed to see a poor-inner city boy become one of the world’s most accomplished neurosurgeons. Since 1987 Ben has been an amazing Icon. Carson was a male-desired, but rare role model. He was an African American who was well known for his intellect. Ben has retired from his medical career and since has bashed Obama for Obama’s signature health care law. Ben has said Obamas health care law is the worst thing since slavery. Ben has lost a lot of voters after his speaking on Obamas health care plan. Many people still respect his personal accomplishments and the work he has completed in his community. Ben’s political base is not as strong as it was, but despite his personal beliefs, Ben is still winning people over with his incredible speeches.

Ben Carson is an emeritus professor of neurosurgery, oncology, plastic surgery and pediatrics at the John Hopkins School of Medicine. Ben was named the director of pediatric neurosurgery in 1984. Ben has written and spoken powerfully about several pivotal movements that acquired in his life. The core of his spiritual redemption was his past of acts of violence, it was also the end and the beginning of his transformation. Ben Carson once described his violent ways as an uncontrollable pathological temper. Ben has many events of attempting to hurt others. He once tried to hit his mother with a hammer over a disagreement of clothes and after stab his friend over arguing about what radio station to listen to. Luckily, classmates and neighbors have no memory on Ben’s old drastic ways. The person Ben has become is totally different person from the old Ben. Carson has risen from an impoverished childhood to a pediatric neurosurgeon. He has had many accomplishments throughout his life. For example in December of the year of 2014, he was ranked as the sixth most admirable man in America. Ben has change tremendously throughout his life.
