Ben Affleck Sometimes Gets Jealous Too Much

Decent Essays
Ben Affleck sometimes gets jealous too. Obvious reason? The success of the Captain America: Civil War at the box office.

Captain America: Civil War has started off in a far better way than Ben Affleck's Batman V Superman. This is the reason why Affleck must be feeling a tiny bit jealous of the movie's success at the box office and awesome reviews.

Affleck's memes have gone viral on the internet after the recent interview. May be, he will now want to keep his emotions under control and do away with that sad face, despite all the obvious disappointment.

It is estimated that Captain America: Civil War has raked in $182 million at the box office on the opening weekend. This is, by far, the biggest opening of any movie released so far in 2016.

Director Ridley Scott's science fiction film 'The Martian' slammed the box office over the weekend with a healthy $55 million. The film nearly surpassed the 2013 science fiction thriller film directed and produced by Alfonso Cuarón, 'Gravity.' As the Gravity film has the highest-grossing October debut in history. The reviews that expressed great pleasure over the film strengthened Ridley Scott's released of The Martian, as the critics also called the movie among the director's best and heaped admiration on the performance of Matt Damon as an astronaut stranded on Mars.…

This was the start of something great, and he knew it. Before watching this movie I knew what the Civil War entailed and how it was the bloodiest war of the United States, and it had almost the most deaths in a war in history. But other than that, it was hard for me to really have my eyes opened to the suffering in class by just taking notes. Like I said before, being able to watch a movie on something like this…

The beginning of Ferris Bueller introduces a rather normal looking high school individual [Ferris] whose impish personality is revealed by his plot to skip school under the pretense of being sick. A number of fade-ins reveal that this isn't the first time that Ferris has skipped school. If anything, given the bland almost bored reaction of the economics teacher [Ben Stein] to the revelation that Ferris is gone again from his class indicates a considerable indifference to Ferris's antics, at least as far as this teacher is concerned. Ferris even coaxes his younger girlfriend, Sloane, and his friend, Cameron, to tag along so Ferris can enjoy his "day off" to the fullest.…

In Katie Walsh’s review of Batman v Superman, she clearly says how much she disliked the movie due to dull character personalities, lack of plot and a poorly executed final fight scene. She goes onto say how the “characters are as exciting as oatmeal.” (2.3) She explains how the characters lack any depth and how some characters seemed “miscast.” (2.4) Then with so many characters to follow there ends up being very little plot even with the movie being two and a half hours long. Basically the movie tried to do too much at one time.…

There are many things that crossed my mind as I watched the movie Lincoln for the first time. The first was, "wow this movie is kind of slow." The second was, "relax, you're only two minutes into it." The next 148 minutes went by faster than I expected them to. Steven Spielberg brought the Civil War to a modern audience in a way that only he can.…

The heated debate of paying college athletes and the status of student-athletes as amateurs has been argued often and thoroughly in recent times. With testimonies coming from current and former NCAA Division I athletes about inability to afford basic living amenities such as being able to afford dinner, being able to see a movie with friends, or find time to balance athletics with academics and a social life, media and critics have been arguing whether or not it is time to start paying college athletes. Some of the proponents for paying college athletes argue that the amount of time put in by the athletes and the amount of revenue raised by the NCAA and member institutions is exploiting athletes. Those that argue against paying college athletes…

George Miller's Mad Max Fury Road has proven there is still hope for summer blockbusters. Even though it has been over 3 decades since Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, the movie doesn't falter. In fact, since it has had 3 decades to hone and refine itself; Fury Road is better than its predecessors. The fantastical, gritty Mad Max has more depth than a surface analysis would expect. The choreography, directing, style, plot, acting and effects all combine together to create a masterpiece, or at the very least a very well put together action movie.…

Jason Bourne returns with a fury – and takes down the box office field in the process… For those wondering whether the Bourne film series had seen its best days come and go, it would appear it’s alive and well – to the tune of $60 million. Matt Damon returned to the popular franchise, reprising his role as Jason Bourne, establishing one of the highest openings of the franchise, coming in only behind 2007’s The Bourne Ultimatum ($69.2 million). Jason Bourne has also done relatively well abroad, thus far, earning a quick $50.1 million – bringing the film’s worldwide total to $110 million. And, with a production budget of $120 million, all signs would indicate we likely have not seen the last of the Bourne franchise.…
